My years spent working in the fashion world were very unique. I went from not knowing what fashion week was (what are you talking about, every week is fashion week around here) to walking around with an all-access pass. I had bizarre experiences like reviewing Kanye West’s runway show in Paris, hanging out with Thom Yorke at his pool party, comforting a crying and distraught Katy Perry … the list goes on and on. All three of my writer-in-residencies were wildly different, save for one common denominator—I had a blast.
